For Community Engagement, Learning & Innovation

This booth category is designed for organizations, businesses, educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, artists, and community leaders who are committed to actively engaging attendees through demonstrations, educational activities, interactive experiences, resource sharing, creative exhibits, or innovative ideas.

The Black Learners Matter Too™ Community Market is not intended to be a passive vendor event. Community Resource / Innovation Space participants are expected to provide meaningful engagement with attendees through conversation, activities, demonstrations, displays, learning experiences, or other interactive opportunities.

Examples may include:
• Educational activities and demonstrations
• STEM, robotics, and technology exhibits
• Arts and creative experiences
• Youth engagement activities
• Community resources and outreach
• Financial literacy or entrepreneurship education
• Interactive product demonstrations
• Cultural, historical, or educational exhibits

Sales are permitted within this category; however, all participants must incorporate an educational, interactive, innovative, or community-engagement component into their booth experience. Attendees should have an opportunity to learn, participate, explore, experience, or engage beyond simply viewing products or making a purchase.

Important: Applicants must be willing and able to actively engage with attendees throughout the event. If your primary goal is simply to set up a table and wait for customers without offering an interactive, educational, community-focused, or engaging experience, this category is likely not a good fit.

Organizations or businesses that cannot provide meaningful attendee engagement are respectfully asked not to apply for this booth category.

Application Requirement: Please describe how your organization, business, or program will meet this engagement requirement. Include details regarding any demonstrations, activities, educational components, interactive experiences, resource sharing, or community engagement opportunities you plan to provide during the event.

Booth fees help cover event logistics, park usage, and operations.

Fees are collected after approval. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
