My Journey in Education

My journey begn in the classroom, where I expereinced firsthand the power of respectful relationships and high expectations on student learning. As a mathematics teacher, i ay thepotetial in every learner. 

I later served as a PreK-12 mathematics Supervisor, supporting teachers and improving instructional systems.As a school adminstrator, I gained broader leadership expereince addressing school culture, educator development, and student achievement. 

These expereinces taught me that educational success requires strong instruction intentional relatiosships, and a commitment to equity.

Why I founded QRES

I founded Quarantine Racism Educational Services (QRES) to provide educators, students, families, and communities with the tools, training, and opportunities needed to address the educational challenges affecting Black learners. QRES is built on the belief that every leaner deserves access to high-quality instruction, positive relationships, and meaningful opportunities to succeed. 

Through professional developent, curriculum, educational events, and community partnerships, QRES works to strengthen educational environments and create a brighter future for every learner.
