The Big Idea – Choices Create Change

Functions show how one value (input) affects another (output). Education often affects income: more education can open opportunities for higher pay. But unfair systems sometimes block this pattern. God desires that wisdom and knowledge bring blessings, not barriers.

Input (Years of School) → Output (Average Income):

• 8 years → $25,000
• 12 years → $35,000
• 16 years → $55,000
• 20 years → $75,000

This input/output table shows a pattern: more education → higher income.
But in some communities, people with the same education may not receive the same opportunities.
